Terms of Service

Browsevra runs a hosted Chromium browser and returns what it sees: a screenshot, a PDF, the HTML after the page's JavaScript has run, or the text and attributes behind CSS selectors you provide. On plans where it is enabled it also exposes a Chrome DevTools Protocol endpoint, so a Puppeteer or Playwright script can drive the browser directly.

It does not host your site, store the pages it fetches, or do anything with the result other than return it to you.

You may only point Browsevra at pages you own or are authorised to fetch. Specifically, you must not use it to:

• fetch a site you do not control or have permission to access, including in breach of that site's terms or its robots directives;
• load-test, stress-test or otherwise send volume at a third party;
• bypass a paywall, a login, a bot-protection measure or a rate limit, or harvest personal data at scale;
• relay, proxy or anonymise traffic in order to disguise its origin;
• distribute malware, illegal content, or anything that violates another party's rights;
• evade the limits below, including by creating multiple accounts.

Browsevra independently refuses targets that resolve to private networks, loopback and link-local addresses, and cloud metadata endpoints. That is a safety limit protecting our infrastructure, not a substitute for you having permission to fetch a page.

We may suspend a key or an account that breaches this section, and for a clear and ongoing breach we may do so without notice.

Each plan sets browser minutes per billing period, how many sessions may run at once, how long a single session may last, and a request allowance. These are enforced by the service, and browser time is metered on the minutes a browser is actually open — a request that fails still costs the time it held.

Without a subscription you get a small monthly allowance usable in the dashboard playground only. API keys require a paid plan and are refused before a session starts, so an unattended script finds out on its first call rather than part-way through a run.

When you reach a limit, nothing is deleted. Further requests are refused with an error that says which limit you hit, and everything resumes when the period resets.

Browsevra has no subscription of its own. It is included with your Evra plan, sold and billed by Evra, and one plan covers every Evra product. Payments, invoices, upgrades, downgrades and cancellations are all handled there and governed by Evra's terms.

If your subscription lapses, your account and your API keys are not deleted. They drop to the free allowance, which means the keys stop working while the playground keeps running; resubscribing turns the same keys back on with nothing to recreate.

We aim to serve every request and to meter it accurately. We do not guarantee a specific uptime figure, and we do not offer a service level agreement.

What Browsevra returns is what the page gave it, and pages change. A selector that matched yesterday may match nothing today, a site may block or rate-limit us, and a page may render differently than it does in your own browser. Do not use Browsevra as the only safeguard for something where a wrong or missing result causes irreversible harm.

The service is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from a request that failed, timed out, or returned something other than what you expected.

What you fetch is yours. We do not store the pages Browsevra loads or the screenshots, PDFs, HTML or scraped values it returns — they are streamed to you and not written anywhere. We record that a request happened and the hostname it went to, which is what the usage meter is made of. We do not sell any of it, and we do not use it to train anything.

You can revoke your keys at any time and close your account through Evra. We may terminate an account for a breach of the acceptable use section, or if required by law.
